Albion, Maine Lovejoy Health Center is seeking a Patient Service Representative (due to a promotion from wihtin) to join our friendly family practice.
Responsibilities include:
telephone communication, scheduling for multiple disciplines, collecting payments, and clerical duties.
Excellent communication skills, proficient computer skills and working knowledge of office procedures and equipment are required.
Prior medical office experience and medical terminology are preferred.
The selected candidate will receive benefits to include a pension plan with employer match.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
